Lady Samiltish Stone, Countess of Vestor, once held the title Lady High Consul to the Queen, one of the top offices in the Kingdom. It was technically an advisory position but in practice, Lady Samiltish was what you might call the Kingdom's chief operating officer: she oversaw all of the Kingdom's big projects and managed its day-to-day affairs.
Once Telcar ascended to the throne, he personally took on day-to-day management duties for the Kingdom, relagating the office of High Consul to basically doing errands. Lady Samiltish resigned, and now lives in a cottage in the woods.
Her favorite hobby is gardening.
