Familiar to many younger people in Borrington as "Old Man Nelson": Macgregor ranch was the one location where children of Borrington would be taken for a field trip during their schooling days. Nelson entertained the children with entralling stories of shepherding and sheep-shearing. To many of the children of Borrington, it seemed like the epitome of a thrilling life compared to the farm life of Borrington, but, as it turns out, shepherding is not all it's cracked up to be.

Got a young feller from Borrington to thank. Kid grew up a farmer but damn it if he didn't manage to wrangle ten whole sheep into the Shearin' Pit.
The lesson here is: there is always hope, even for farmers.
